This policy describes how Phantom Avenue Tattoo Studio ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information from visitors and clients. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

  • Booking and consultation information: name, email, phone number, the design brief you share with us, and any photos you provide for reference.
  • Health information: at your appointment, we ask about medical history relevant to safe tattooing (allergies, medications, conditions). This is collected on paper and stored at the studio, not online.
  • Newsletter signups: email address only.
  • Website analytics: anonymized usage data via Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4. We do not store IP addresses in identifiable form.

How we use it

  • To schedule and confirm your appointments.
  • To prepare custom artwork to your brief.
  • To send occasional emails about studio updates, if you've opted in.
  • To understand which pages and content resonate with visitors, so we can improve the site.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share consultation details, references, or health information with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the studio.
  • We do not use your photos or work for marketing without your permission.

Third-party services

  • Square Appointments handles online booking. Square stores your booking details on its servers. See Square's privacy policy for details.
  • Wix Contacts processes newsletter signups via our subscription endpoint.
  • Vercel hosts the website and provides analytics.
  • Google Analytics 4 provides anonymized traffic analytics if enabled.

Your rights

You can request access to your personal information, request that we correct it, or request that we delete it. Email us at info@phantomavenue.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
